GMG Holding (2007-2016)
With the takeover of the bike seat manufacturer GMG I set myself the goal of restoring the company's position as market leader, based on a complete turnaround strategy, in the Netherlands, revitalising the outdated brand, internationalising sales and thus safeguarding continuity, within three years.
A whole series of new bike seats was developed with great speed and dedication. Production, assembly and logistics were fully outsourced. The organisation of the GMG outsource model consisted of just three employees during the first four years. Lean and mean! Strategic and structural partnerships were concluded with external parties at home and abroad.
When GMG Holding was sold to Thule in 2016, Yepp was both market leader in the Netherlands and in Denmark. There was structural turnover growth in the USA, Japan, Australia and Germany.
